Addie Mae Smith Blanton, 93, died Dec. 11, 2012, at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, the Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was born in Robeson County on Sept. 14, 1919, to the late Albert Smith and Addie Pittman Smith. She previously worked as a baker at Danny Mae Bakery.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jack West and Jerry West.

Blanton is survived by her son, Eugene Ray West of Lumberton; a brother, Cecil Smith of Lumberton; a sister, Joyce Freeman of Fairmont; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday before the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St., in Lumberton.

Sorry to hear of Mae's passing..My thoughts are also with her step daughters Nancy, Patsy and Wanda on this day as well as the rest of her family...
