Bobby Britt

FAIRMONT — Bobby Lacy Britt, 83, of 11146 N.C. 41 South, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, the Rev. Roy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in Iona Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

He was born June 20, 1929, in Robeson County.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Britt;

He is survived by two sons, Robert Gary Britt and wife Janice of Little River, S.C., and Steve Louis Britt of Los Angeles; two stepdaughters, Glenda Lewis of Thomasville, and Kay Walters of Orrum; a brother, David Britt of Florence, S.C.; a stepbrother, Dan Lewis of Orrum; a sister, Becky Ann Merritt of Florence, S.C.; and a grandchild, Natalie Rene Britt.

The visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
