Randolph Evans Jr.
NEW YORK — Randolph Evans Jr., of New York, formerly of Maxton, died Jan. 17, 2013.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Greater Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Maxton. Burial with a dove ceremony will follow in Greater Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of New York; his mother, Dorothy Louise Evans of Lumberton; three brothers, Howard Evans of Lumberton, Robert Woolridge and Leroy Woolridge of Virginia; and two sisters, Fredi Evans of Washington, D.C.,and Karen Evans of Baltimore.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Chapel in Laurinburg.
