Alan Stubbs

LUMBERTON — Alan Lynn Stubbs, 55, of Lumberton, died Jan. 25, 2013, at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. George Connor and Leroy Burke officiating. Stubbs will be laid to rest in New Hollywood Cemetery.

Stubbs was a construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, A.L. Stubbs.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Virginia Britt Stubbs-Creech; his stepfather, Charles Bennett Creech; a brother, Duane Stubbs; and half-brother, Gerald Williamson; a sister, Renee Stubbs Hunt; and a special aunt, Barbara West.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Biggs funeral Home, and other times at 1208 Patton St., Lumberton, N.C.
