Doris Harrison
LUMBERTON — Doris Elizabeth Harrison, 89, of 412 Columbia St., died Feb. 7, 2013, at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at East Lumberton Church of God, the Revs. L.F. Hatchell, Steve Adams, Tim Holden and John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
Harrison was born in Richmond County. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Maggie Tabor Huggins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Harrison.
She is survived by five sons, Eugene Franklin Harrison and wife Polly, Jimmy Ray Harrison, Luther Prentis Harrison and wife Thelma, Tomy M. Harrison and wife Margaret, and Larry Wayne Harrison and wife Gjina; three daughters, Mary Connor and husband Floyd, Elizabeth Harrison and Loretta Jernigan; three brothers, Bobby Howard (Jean), Jerry Howard (Daphene) and Rufus Huggins (Marie); eight sisters, Maxine Culpepper, Ann Brand (Freddie), Gail Walters (Charles), Claire Mae Hawley, Gloria Dean Pittman, Betty Pittman, Linda Cox (Ray) and Mary Ann Mayers; 27 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at East Lumberton Church of God.
Arrangements are by Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
