Bonnie Revels
FAYETTEVILLE — Bonnie Lou Revels, 63, of 3471 Ferris St., died Feb, 28, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. Davey Locklear and Roscoe A. Emanuel officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine family cemetery on Rennert Road in Lumberton.
She was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Robeson County.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Bell; two brothers, Larry Locklear, Michael Hammonds; and three sisters, Barbara Crawford, Mary Faye Hastings, and Teresa Hammonds;
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 45 years, Theodore Revels; a daughter, Rhonda Revels Lowery of Hope Mills; two grandchildren, Theodore Jacob Lowery of Hope Mills and Brianna Lynette Jones of McColl, S.C.; three sisters, Eva Mae Kelly and husband Franks of Florida, Annie Ruth Jordan of Baltimore, Elaine Locklear and husband Carson of Shannon; four brothers, Ertle Ray Hammonds of Baltimore, Ricky Hammonds and wife Veronica of Louisiana, Terry Hammonds and wife Gracie of Baltimore, Frankie Hammonds of Baltimore; two sister-in-laws, Shelia Locklear of Matthews, and Deborah Hammonds of Maryland. Revels also leaves to cherish her memory a wealth of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
