Lynn Croom Collins, 66, of Lumberton, passed away Nov. 5, 2012, at her home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Revs. Hedrick Jones, Joe Bounds and Dr. David Elks officiating.
She was born on May 2, 1946, in Marion County, S.C., to the late A.W. Croom and the late Monis Boyette Croom. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County.
Collins is survived by her husband, Danny Collins of the home; three sons, Steve Collins and Pat Collins, both of Lumberton, and Shawn Collins of Elizabethtown, Tenn.; a sister, Pat Barnum of Gainesville, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Logan Collins, Maranda Collins, Jenner Collins, and Joshua Collins.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Southeastern Hospice, 2002 N. Cedar St., Lumberton, N.C. ,28358.
