Deacon ‘Buddy” Earnest Walter Harrington, 79, of 1146 West Great Marsh Road, died Nov. 18, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. today at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church, Elders Charles Marsh, Alvin Lewis, Bishop Shepard Pierce, the Rev. James McKinnon and Dr. Samuel McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.
He is survived by two sons, Walter Harrington Sr., of Raeford and John Harrington of St. Pauls; two daughters, Deborah McBryde of Raeford and Martha Adams of Hope Mills; and two sisters, Gladys Harrington and Ruby Harrington, both of the home.
