Addie “Blossom” Sanderson, 89, of 2409 St. Anna Road, Pembroke, was born June 5, 1923, to the late Dannie and Prescott Jones Sanderson. She departed this life on Nov. 24, 2012, at Pembroke Care and Rehabilitation.
The funeral will be 8 p.m. today at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Keith Long officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John Sanderson; and three sisters, Julie Strickland, Ada Bell Sanderson and Lula Perez.
Surviving are her son, Lelan Sanderson (Annie) of Lumberton; a grandson, Joey Lynn Locklear (Jodella) of Lumberton; two great-grandchildren, Master Jaylen Locklear and Miss Jahna Locklear, both of Lumberton; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
