Rosa Lee Hobson Rodgers, 83, of Lumberton, died Dec. 25, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at East Lumberton Baptist Church, the Rev. Leroy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was born in Cumberland County on July 18, 1929, to the late Walter James Hobson and the late Bessie Mae Butler. She previously worked for Acme Electric in the finishing department.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, June Rodgers; a son, John Carl Rodgers; a brother, Tommy Hobson; and a sister, Mary Grace Hobson.

Rodgers is survived by two sons, Jimmy Rodgers and wife Betty of Lumberton and Thomas E. Rodgers of Red Springs; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Coxe and husband Larry of Blenheim, S.C.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
