Edwin Yost
LUMBERTON — Edwin Crane Yost, 84, of Lumberton, died Jan. 22, 2013, at Highland Acres Nursing Center in Lumberton.
The funeral services will be private.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, on Nov. 12, 1928, to the late Kelly and Sarah Yost.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was previously self-employed in the carpet business.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Dean Yost.
Yost is survived by his son, Alan Yost and wife Lori of Lumberton; a daughter, Sharon Bell and husband Tim of Lumberton; and four grandchildren, Josh Yost, Christine Bell, Jeffrey Bel, and Benjamin Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, 2711 Breezewood Ave., Fayetteville, N.C., 28303.
