Charles Ward

PROCTORVILLE — Charles Ralph Ward, 73, of Proctorville, passed away Jan. 22, 2013, at his home.

A memorial will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ward was born May 26, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was a member of Proctorville Baptist Church and coach and educator for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Ward and Helen Brown Ward; and a sister, Betty Frock.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille R. Ward of the home; a son, Michael Sealy and wife Cheryl of Proctorville; a daughter, Angela W. Lamb and husband Tommy of Lumberton; a brother, James Ward and wife Judy of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Clay Sealy, Casey Sealy, Michel Sealy and Chaz Lamb; and a great-grandchild, Rilyn Sealy.

The visitation will follow the memorial service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Proctorville Baptist Church.
