LUMBERTON – Dianne McEwen Wilkins, 66, of Lumberton, died Jan. 25, 2013, at the Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Antioch Baptist Church, the Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.

She was born in Robeson County on May 13, 1946, to the late George McEwen and the late Monis Bass McEwen. She was a graduate of Lumberton High School and Pembroke State University. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Monis Bass McEwen.

Wilkins is survived by her husband, Ralph Wilkins of the home; a son, Timmy Wilkins and wife Kim of Lumberton; a daughter, Shelly Wilkins of Lumberton; a brother, Doug McEwen of Lumberton; a sister, Doris Slack and husband Jim of Emerald Isle; and four grandchildren, Paige Wilkins, Dylan Wilkins, Mahala Cummings, and Michael Oxendine.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. fifth St. in Lumberton.
