Glenda Taylor
LUMBERTON — Glenda Pittman Taylor, 69, of Lumberton, died Jan. 28, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clybonville Baptist Church, the Rev. Steve Clegg officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
Taylor now resides in God’s hands. She was born in Robeson County on June 26, 1943, to the late Graham Pittman and the late Pearl Mercer Pittman. She previously worked in quality control for Gerber Children’ Clothes.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ernest Pittman.
Taylor is survived by her husband, Billy Taylor of the home; three daughters, Sharon Caulder and husband Allan of Lumberton, Tammy R. Taylor of St. Pauls, and Dawn Mayers and husband Curtis of Lumberton; a brother, Jimmie Pittman of Lumberton; her sisters, Marilyn Williford of Ocean Isle Beach, Janice Lewis of Lumberton, Rachel Edens of Ocean Isle Beach, Joyce Evans of Lumberton; a dear friend, Carolyn Biddy of Lumberton; and three precious grandchildren, Micheal Caulder, Christian Mayers and Abigail Mayers.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
