GARDEN CITY, S.C. — James “Clinker” Miller died Jan. 30, 2013.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Lake View

Miller was born in Marion County. He was the son of the late Ralph Miller and Evelyn Barfield Miller.

He was the owner of the Blue Marlin Bar and Grill in Garden City and a member of First Baptist Church of Lake View.

Miller was preceded in death by his brother, Richard C. Miller.

Miller is survived by his mother, Evelyn Miller; a special love, Jayne Summers; his brothers, Wayne Miller (Lois Ann) and David Miller (Mary Carol), all of Lake View; his sisters, Nancy Dickens of Fairmont, Sandy Edwards of Batesburg-Leesville, Rosemary Daniels (Kenny) of Dillon, Sherry Hinson (Butch), Debbie Capps (Jerry) of Batesburg-Leesville, and Susan Herring of Dillon; two special friends, Monica Williams and Naomi Leonard; a host of nieces and nephews; and two cats, Sugar and Nitro; and many friends and customers in the Garden City area.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Lake View.

There will be a celebration of the life of Clinker from 2 to 4 p.m. February 10, at the Marlin, 614 Atlantic Ave., Garden City S.C.
