MARLENE BLAKE
LUMBERTON — Marlene Thomas Blake, 78, of Lumberton, died peacefully at home March 4, 2013.
The funeral will be at 5 p.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pres. John Ricks officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
She was born June 5, 1934, in Malad, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Blake; a daughter, Lorelei; a son, John; her father, Lamar J. Thomas; her mother, Emma Annabel Ashton; her brother, Elton; her sisters, Shirley, Donna, and DeAnn; and her stepmother, Margaret Thomas.
She is survived by her son, David Blake and his wife Claudia; a sister, Cheryl Atkinson; and a brother, Les Braker.
The viewing will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 450 Liberty Hill Drive in Lumberton.
