True Believers Church is asking members of the public to vote in its baby contest. Voting ends in June. The cost to cast a vote is $1. The child with the most votes is the winner. Contestants can be viewed on Rib of my Rib Marriage Ministry’s Facebook page. There will be a first, second and third place winner. A celebration to follow on July 3 at 5 p.m. at the church.

Godwin Heights Baptist Church will host the Blackwood Brothers in concert celebrating 80 years on July 17 at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 704 Godwin Ave. in Lumberton.

New Beginning Chuch will have its homecoming on July 17 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Ron Williams of St. John Missionary Church in Long Creek. The church is located at 950 Linkhaw Road in Lumberton.

First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton invites the community to listen to the church’s services online at FPCLive.com every Sunday at 11 a.m.

Lighthouse Ministries food pantry, located at 8878 N.C. 72 E. in Lumberton, serves the communities of Long Branch, Sand Hill, Broadridge, Mt. Elm, Smyrna, Proctorville, Orrum, Barnesville, Fairmont and Marietta. The pantry opens every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lighthouse Ministries will distribute TEFAP government commodities between 10 a.m. and noon on the third Saturday of each month for all of Robeson County.

St. Mary Holy Bible Church of God holds Bible study from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and day prayer services at noon on Thursdays. Sunday services begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by Morning Worship services at 11 a.m. For information, call 910-739-2885 or 910-739-5352.

Bethany Christian Fellowship holds its worship services at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays and at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at the HealthKeeperz building beside Maxway on West Third Street in Pembroke.

Saint James AME Zion Church holds Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.; morning worship at 11 a.m.; children’s church every second and fourth Sunday; every fifth Sunday the Youth department leads morning services; prayer service and Bible study Wednesdays at 6 p.m.; Intercessory prayer is held the second through fifth Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. The church is located at 116 W. St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center Solid Rock Ministries holds its Sunday school services at 9 a.m.; Sunday worship at 10 a.m.; Tuesday Bible service at noon; Wednesday Bible study at 7 p.m.; and Early Worship at 8 a.m. each fourth and fifth Sunday.
