Power Point Church at 4282 N.C. 211, Lumberton, will have a King’s Kidz Safety and Awareness Day on Sunday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature music, fire trucks, an ambulance, smoke house, food and fellowship.

Baltimore Baptist Church in Fairmont will celebrate homecoming on Sunday. No early worship will be held. Sunday School will be at at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon.

New Point Baptist Church, located at 3410 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will start its fall revival Sunday and it will run through Wednesday. Sunday services will begin at 6:30 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday services will be held at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Lawrence Garner and the Rev. Brent Chavis are the speakers.

Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, at 172 Plainview Drive, Lumberton will hold its 78th Ushers Anniversary on Sunday at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Vista Jones. McCormick Chapel Gospel Choir will perform.

New Beginning Church, at 950 Linkhaw Road, Lumberton, will have a nurse’s aid program on Sunday at 10 a.m.

Green Springs Baptist, 1095 E. Green Springs Road, Parkton, is having its annual Harvest Day on Saturday. Proceeds go to support local and foreign missions. There will be BBQ and chicken salad sandwiches, hot dogs, and hamburger combos for sale, activities for kids, and vendors. Harvest Church of the Assemblies of God, located at 986 Raynham Farms Road, Rowland, will have homecoming services on Oct. 16 beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the music ministry of the Mills Family. Guest speaker for the day will be Church of God State Evangelist Mike Mills. Harvest Worship and Creation Ministries will also provide music.. A covered dish traditional homecoming luncheon will be served following the service.

Grace Baptist Church, at 1127 Rowan Road, Lumberton, will have a singing on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. featuring Sounds of Praise, Echoes of Faith, Tina Hunt and Family Devotion, J.R. Hunt, and Going Through with speaker Doug Campbell. They will serve food before and after the event.

Old Stage Road, St. Pauls, will host Ingathering 2016 on Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. featuring, for $8 per plate, chicken salad, barbecue, or combination plates. The chicken salad plate includes chicken salad on a bed of lettuce, spiced apple rings, captains wafers and cake.

First Pentecostal Holiness Church, at 217 S. Pinehurst St., Aberdeen, will hold healing weekend services Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 with faith healing evangelist Art Thomas. He will lead services on Oct. 22 from 6 tp 9 p.m., and on Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon and 6 to 9 p.m. Thomas is a missionary-evangelist and is the president and CEO of the Wildfire Ministries International.

Integrity Ministries is holding an event Oct. 22 called Not on My Watch aimed at stopping gun and gang violence in Robeson County and honoring victims of violence. Greenville Baptist Church will celebrate its 111th anniversary on Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. The guest speaker is the Rev. T. Shedrick Byrd, pastor of Sandy Grove Baptist Church.

A Gospel Jam Explosion will be held on Jan. 21 at East Bladen High School at 5600 NC 87, Elizabethtown featuring the performances of Renewal of Clinton; Spiritual Voices of Warsaw, Blessed of Spivey Corner and others. First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton invites the community to listen to the church’s services online at FPCLive.com every Sunday at 11 a.m.

Lighthouse Ministries food pantry, located at 8878 N.C. 72 E. in Lumberton, serves the communities of Long Branch, Sand Hill, Broadridge, Mt. Elm, Smyrna, Proctorville, Orrum, Barnesville, Fairmont and Marietta. The pantry opens every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lighthouse Ministries will distribute TEFAP government commodities between 10 a.m. and noon on the third Saturday of each month for all of Robeson County.

Bethany Christian Fellowship holds its worship services at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays and at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at the HealthKeeperz building beside Maxway on West Third Street in Pembroke.
