The Tyler’s 50th anniversary singing will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Reedy Branch Baptist Church on McDonald Road in Fairmont with special guests, The McNeils, The Pierce Family, The Locklears and Wendy, The Tylers, The Twins, Gage and Zane Compton.

Comfort for the Soul Outreach, part of Wings Ministry, will be at Motel Six, at 2361 Lackey St., Lumberton on Saturday from 11 a.m until 4 p.m. to give out Bibles, water, cleaning supplies, toiletries, blankets, book bags, paper products, clothing, diapers, and other items. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Bethesda United Methodist Church, at 8417 S. Creek Road, Orrum, will have its annual bazaar and barbecue plate on Saturday. The bazaar starts at 10 a.m.; the plate sale will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parkton Baptist Church will hold its 64th annual homecoming service Sunday starting at the 11 a.m. worship service with guest speaker the Rev. John Cuthill. A covered dish luncheon will be served at noon.

St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center will convene its 10th annual holy convocation and church anniversary on Nov. 11 and it will continue through Nov. 13 at 4657 McLeod Road, Red Springs. Services start on Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. with Bishop Gerard Wilson the guest speaker. Services continue Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. with morning prayers and seminars beginning at 10 a.m. Dr. Amanda Jones will be the speaker at 2 p.m. Services continue Nov. 13 with Sunday school at 9 a.m.; Sunday morning worship at 10 a.m. and Apostle Anthony Buie the guest speaker.

Raynham Baptist Church, 5660 U.S. 301 S., Rowland, will hold its fall revival Nov. 13-16 each evening at 7 p.m.

Saint John Baptist Church on N.C. 71 in Shannon will present the skit “The Gospel Train” on Nov. 13 at 4 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Dennis Mims is pastor of the church.

Mount Sinai United Holy Church of Lumberton will hold its annual homecoming on Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Pentecostal United Holy Church, 2300 Gavintown Road, Lumberton. The change in location is due to flooding. The theme of the service is “From glory to glory,” and the guest speaker for the evening will be Bishop Bobby Jordan of True Deliverance Ministries International of Fayetteville. Voices of Distinction will perform.

Greenville Baptist Church will celebrate its 111th anniversary on Nov. 13 at 3:30 p.m. The guest speaker is the Rev. T. Shedrick Byrd, pastor of Sandy Grove Baptist Church.

Trinity Episcopal Church, at 1202 N. Chestnut St, Lumberton, will host a series of Advent programs that consist of noonday prayers, a musical program and a simple lunch. They will be held in the church sanctuary at 12:05 p.m. on Nov. 30, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14. On Nov. 30, the program will feature a piano and organ concert by John Rozier, a Lumberton physician, and Lee Harris, Trinity organist. On Dec. 7, Jaeyoon Kim, associate professor of Voice and Chorus at UNCP and lyric tenor, will perform with his wife, Seung-Ah Kim, adjunct faculty for piano, also at UNCP. The closing concert on Dec. 14 will feature the Lumberton High School Concert Choir directed by Teresa Davis.

A Gospel Jam Explosion will be held on Jan. 21 at East Bladen High School at 5600 NC 87, Elizabethtown featuring the performances of Renewal of Clinton; Spiritual Voices of Warsaw, Blessed of Spivey Corner and others. Tickets are $8 in advance and may be purchased by calling 910-271-8324 or 910-441-0734. Tickets at the door are $10. Food will be sold and door prizes will be given away.

First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton invites the community to listen to the church’s services online at FPCLive.com every Sunday at 11 a.m.

Lighthouse Ministries food pantry, located at 8878 N.C. 72 E. in Lumberton, serves the communities of Long Branch, Sand Hill, Broadridge, Mt. Elm, Smyrna, Proctorville, Orrum, Barnesville, Fairmont and Marietta. The pantry opens every second Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lighthouse Ministries will distribute TEFAP government commodities between 10 a.m. and noon on the third Saturday of each month for all of Robeson County.

Bethany Christian Fellowship holds its morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sundays and its Bible study Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. The church is located at 307 S. Jones St. in Pembroke.

Freedom Christian Fellowship holds its celebration service Sundays at 10 a.m.; prayer Mondays at 7 p.m.; free instrument training and playing Tuesdays at 7 p.m.; youth and children christian training Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; adult discipleship Thursdays at 7 p.m.; and on the first Friday of every month is a men’s and women’s meeting at 7 p.m.

Cedar Grove Baptist Church of Fairmont holds Bible study at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The Pentecostals holds a group Bible study and prayer meeting Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in the Refuge Youth Center. The church is located at 1011 Carthage Road in Lumberton.
