Red Devils rout West Columbus to close regular season

RED SPRINGS — For the first time since September, the Red Springs football was able to string together a win streak and closed out the regular season with a 75-19 win over West Columbus at home on Thursday.

Justin Locklear rushed for touchdowns, Andrew Prather rushed for another score, Toddrick Lockhart connected with Eric Graham for a touchdown pass and Denym McKeithan hit Michael Govan for a passing touchdown in the game that Red Springs (6-5, 3-4 TRC) led 55-12 at the half.

Trinidy Mack blocked a punt that Jerome Bass returned for a touchdown and Nichorie West had a interception returned for a touchdown. Coty Locklear had an interception and a fumble recovery and Jerry Bullard forced a fumble and recovered one as well.
