Pembroke wasn’t making a profit when it was closed down.. The employees and members of the board were using it as there own liquor cabinet. They would steal the best stuff to impress their friends. Wonder if anyone ever went to prison over this?
If this would have happened in Lumberton, someone would still be in jail now.
