Homer S. Locklear, 65, of 5701 Fayetteville Road, died Dec. 28, 2008, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Charity Church of God, the Revs. Kenny Hunt and Tommy Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Janie Locklear of Fayetteville; a son, Donald Maynor of Fayetteville; a daughter, Melanie Locklear of Fayetteville; a brother, William Brooks of Lumberton; and a sister, Mary Brooks of Pembroke.
The visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at Boles Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Red Springs.
