Jessie “Sister” Nettles Mack, 99, of 4910 White Oak Drive, formerly of Winston-Salem, died Friday at GlenFlora Nursing Center of Lumberton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sandy Grove Baptist Church, the Rev. T. Shedrick Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mack was born on Aug. 25, 1903, in Darlington, S.C., to the late Walter and Eva Cocker Nettles.
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.
Surviving are a daughter, Jannie “Hun” N. Jerald of Lumberton; two sons, Robert Mack Jr. of Bronx, N.Y., and Milton Smith of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Rose Lee Covington of Winston-Salem; 33 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter, Jannie Jerald, 4910 White Oak Drive, Lumberton.
