Edwin Judson Britt, 61, of 1831 Morganton Road, Fayetteville, died Tuesday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Dr. John Wright Coker officiating.
Britt owned Cumberland Appraisal Service since 1976. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Britt, a sister, Joyce Ann Britt Teague, and a brother, Joseph McMillan Britt.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Byrd Britt of the home; two daughters, Mary Nell Thompson and her husband, Scott, and Katherine Byrd Britt Kirby and her husband Sam, all of Raleigh; three sisters, Joan B. Jones, Patty B. Poche' and Rita Britt, all of Fayetteville; and two granddaughters, Sara Scott Thompson and Brinkley Thompson, both of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.
