Clonnie Brayboy Sr., 59, of 505 Alford Farm Road, Maxton, was born on July 26, 1951, to the late John D. Brayboy and Polly Locklear Brayboy. Clonnie went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2011, at the home surrounded by family and friends.

The funeral will be held 3 p.m. Friday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, the Revs. Danny Brooks, Dufrene Cummings and Roger Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He retired from Pilkington Glass Plant (LOF) after 34 years. He had a passion for playing the guitar. He was also a skilled carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Brayboy; his sister, Pearlie Oxendine; and a daughter, Kimberly Sissy Brayboy.

Brayboy leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 10 years, Leslie Baker Brayboy; three sons, Clonnie Brayboy Jr. (Olivia) of Pembroke, Jonathan Ponce Brayboy of Las Vegas, and Abner Clonnie Brayboy of the home; two daughters, Amy Locklear (Phillip) and Andrea Locklear (Michael), both of Pembroke; two stepdaughters, Christin Ryan Baker and Toni Lindsay Baker, both of the home; his mother, Polly Locklear Brayboy of Pembroke; four brothers, Britton Brayboy (Blondell) of Maxton, Joseph Brayboy (Cheryl), Orland Brayboy (Michelle), and Sanford Brayboy (Pam), all of Pembroke; two sisters, Mary Brooks (Jeff) of Red Springs and Maxine Locklear (Danny) of Pembroke; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Baker of Pembroke and brother-in-law Anthony Baker Jr. of Pembroke. He also leaves to cherish his memories 10 grandchildren, Brannigan, ORyan, Austin, Kierra, Adreanna, Calab, Joshua, Stephanie, Peyton, and Brison; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 tonight at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
