Ricky and Sylvia Johnson of Pembroke announce the engagement of their daughter, Charlotte Lee Johnson of Pembroke, to Lester Aaron Locklear of Pembroke, the son of Anthony and Terri Locklear of Pembroke.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Junior and Elton Lee Taylor of Fairmont and the late Colonel and Rena Johnson of Pembroke. She attended Purnell Swett High, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Campbell University. She works for Southeastern Regional Medical Center as a pharmacist.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Delton and Sara Locklear of Pembroke and Pauline Ransom and the late Eyrtle Ransom Sr., of Rowland. He attended Purnell Swett High and Johnson & Wales University. He works for Robeson Community College as the Culinary Program Director.
The wedding will be held June 11 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
