ORRUM — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 58-year-old Orrum man.
John James Walsh was last seen at a home on the 2600 block of Bethesda Church Road, according to an alert issued by the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons at about 10:30 a.m. today.
Walsh is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Walsh is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes and has scars on his left eyelid. No photograph was included in the alert.
